how i see it.:in my state y'all can purchase 10% and xx% white vinegar in the grocery store and use it for cooking or cleaning..... vinegar is "vinegar", the percentage is important, yes y'all have to be careful with information technology. (i used to deal with the 80% one in the laboratory without any issues. ok, i didnt put a tabespoon of it in to my soup). but not if its because edible or not. if its a cleaning vinegar just for cleaning, it might incorporate something else too ...methanol wich is toxic, or i dont know what they would put in information technology. if you are not sure, dont eat it.

It depends on brand. Heinz is pure vinegar and can be used for cooking. Other brands accept additives such as alcohol ethoxylate, butyl carbitol, citrus oil and preservatives which are definitely non for consumption. Cheque your labels!

The cleaning vinegar is much stronger than 5% routinely bought at grocery stores. If yu exercise decide to use it, pour the vinegar into the water, that way if you get splashed with anything it will be diluted, this is a basic dominion of chemical science, e'er pour the concentrated into water.

Cleaning vinegar is 20% acidic. Nope, dont practice it.

Help. We accidentally infused cleaning vinegar into bacon nosotros were smoking instead of regular vinegar. Any idea how to get information technology out????

I don't know where y'all are buying ten-20% cleaning vinegar, merely Heinz cleaning vinegar is 6%. Says it correct on the label. Also says safe for cooking.

i contacted heinz for a volume on vinegar but thry dont have i withal i spoke to a very patient nice immature lady. cooking vinegar has 5% acidity and cleaning has 6%. You dont want to drink the 6% it will burn your esophagus.
