Blue Milk makes an appearance in different Star Wars movies, and now you can make your own Star Wars Blue Milk recipe at home! Trust me, this recipe is better than Batuu in Galaxy's Edge. Celebrate May the 4th, Revenge of the 5th, or just make a treat while you have a Star Wars movie marathon!

What is Blue Milk? Blue Milk is a milk, blue in color, and is produced by female Banthas. That's why it's also called Bantha Milk. You can see it in different Star Wars films like A New Hope and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Nobody knows the actual ingredients of the milk in the Star Wars movies, but Mark Hamill said the Blue Milk he drank on set was really ghastly!

You can find Blue and Green Milk at Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland and Walt Disney World. If you want, that, this is not the recipe you're looking for. This is NOT a copycat Disney Blue Milk recipe, because that stuff is gross.

The milk in Galaxy's Edge is not a milk texture at all and has almost a slushy texture. I expected it to be fruity, but it was bland. But if you're a fan of coconut and rice milk, then you may like these drinks and snacks in Galaxy's Edge.

We tried out a bunch of Blue Milk recipes, and we made our own tweaks for a good texture and flavor. Oh and it had to be kid friendly Blue Milk recipe, because my kids would not drink the plant-based mixture in Star Wars Land.

Non-Disney Blue Milk Ingredients:

3 Big Scoops Vanilla Ice Cream

2 Cups Milk

Tropical Punch Kool-Aid Liquid

Blue Food Coloring

Blue Milk Ingredients

Directions:

Scoop 3 big scoops of vanilla ice cream into a blender.

Add 2 cups of milk.

Next, put 3 squirts of the Tropical Punch Kool-Aid Liquid in the blender. (It comes out red.)

Add about 8-10 drops of blue food coloring. I used Wilton Pastel Blue, because I wanted a lighter color. If you use a darker blue, you could probably add less.

Blend everything together and serve!

Makes about 24 oz of liquid, depending on how frothy it turns out. If you want a thicker texture, add more ice cream. I still wanted a milky texture, but something thicker than milk.

It essentially tastes like a vanilla milkshake with a hint of a fruit punch taste. My kids loved it, and this Star Wars Blue Milk recipe paired perfectly with our other Star Wars foods!

Enjoy your Star Wars Skywalker saga marathons on Disney Plus and if you need a laugh, then bookmark these Star Wars Memes.
